Kansas City, KS Soccer Association in partnership with KC United Soccer will offer a weekly soccer academy for boys and girls ages six through ten (6-10). The academy will introduce premier level soccer by teaching fundamentals of the game, including how to properly pass, dribble, and shoot, and basic feints. The academy will lay the foundations for the decision making necessary for learning more advanced tactical concepts in the years to come. During this time the player will continue to play on his or her own recreational team. The cost for the entire ten week program is only $10. The cost includes registering the player with the Kansas State Youth Soccer Association, which provides secondary insurance coverage for participants.
